Rufus has learnt to not eat his breakfast/dinner before I say he can.

Sometimes I wait just that little bit too long and he cracks under the pressure and runs straight for his bowl.

He watches me now, waiting patiently for me to say "eat."

Water the Plants - 19 of 365

It's been over 40 degrees for the past 3 days. I love the hot weather, but not when it's this hot. Not when we have water restrictions. Not when the power goes out because it can't keep up with the demand of air conditioners. Not when my foxtel dies on Golden Globes night.. As well as the internet the same day. I hope it gets cooler soon.

My parents left for Canada on Sunday, for 5 weeks, and watering the plants is one of the jobs they gave us.Foolish really.. I think we've already killed half of them and they've only been gone for 2 days.. I'll blame the weather.

It Breaks My Heart - 13 of 365

Everytime I leave for work in the morning, Rufus jumps into my car thinking he is coming with me. It helps because then I don't run him over, (he hasn't quite mastered "get out of the way of the moving vehicle" yet) but when I make him get out of the car and go back into the yard, it breaks my heart..
He watches as best he can through the little gap in the gate, with his big sad puppy eyes, wondering when I'll be coming back.

Epic is finally open again! I went to work on Monday, and my favourite coffee shop was still closed for the Christmas period. It was quite devastating to say the least. It is definately the best coffee in the whole of Perth.

Well... Someone banged into the back of me and then someone banged into the back of them. Pretty shitty for everyone really.
Luckily my car is still driveable. But it isn't as pretty anymore... Hopefully they'll fix it soon!I've always wanted to blur out my number plate...

Last year I made some cupcakes for my friend's work. Today I got a cheque in the mail for the cupcakes.

Goodbye MYO - 4 of 365

I'm trying to save my pennies... It's actually kind of hard to do. So I can no longer buy my lunch when I'm at work. I have to remember to bring it from home, otherwise too bad. Hopefully I can save an additional $50 a week! That means no more sushi from the good japanese place. No more freddo frogs (yes sometimes this is my lunch) from the convenience shop. No more salads/wraps/rolls from MYO. :(

I asked for new thongs from my secret santa because my dog had eaten 2 pairs in the space of 2 days. My secret santa got me some beautiful and comfy blue and silver havianas.

I walked into my room after a shower this morning to a 'lovely surprise...'Goodbye New Thongs. You will be missed!

New Years Resolution #1 - 2 of 365

To make my bed every day. So far, so good....

Happy New Year - 1 of 365

Since getting my dog in November, I haven't stayed out all night. I haven't wanted to leave him alone. He sleeps in my room, and if I'm not there, he can't be trusted. He can't even be trusted by himself if I have a shower.. He's eaten a pair of shoes, a novel and a lamp cord (plugged in) this week alone. So he has to sleep outside if I'm not here. Which he's never done before.
What if he gets scared outside by himself. What if robbers come and take him away.... It's a possibilty!!

I left him home alone on New Year's Eve, to return early this morning to this...
I guess I was worried about nothing!
